A mouse fed for 30 weeks on Western diet received bolus tail vein injection of imipramine (30 mg/kg), 20 minutes after the start of intravital recording. Injection of imipramine completely blocked the retrograde vesicular uptake of the green-fluorescent bile acid analogue CLF. Green: CLF; Red: TMRE; Blue: Hoechst 33258.
